Summer Camp and School Year 2011

Dear Parents,

As we approach Easter break and CRCT testing we know that we are ending another school year and preparing our children for next years new school goals and challenges. At The Dojang we want to continue to support your child in those goals. I wanted to take a minute to tell you two things we are doing to help with CRCT. The Dojang has purchased grades 1 through 5 CRCT review workbooks and we will be sharing worksheets with students during the silent reading time of Easter Break. The Dojang will provide limited internet access beginning around March 15, 2010 for students to work on their online CRCT practice test. Your child’s school should have set up an account with georgiaoas.org by now.
Over the last two years our afterschool/karate camp program has grown from 25 students in September of 2007 to 40 current students. Looking at our staff level, and available space I have decided to limit the afterschool/karate camp program to 45 students to maintain our current level of service. To help us plan for summer 2010 and the 2010/2011 school year we are asking for early registrations at this time. Beginning April 09, 2010 (end of Easter break) our afterschool rate will go to $75/week for the 2010/2011 school year. Early registration for summer camp will also end that week.

Summer Camp will include;
Early drop off 7am to 9am
Late Pickup 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Morning and afternoon martial arts class
Daily silent reading time
Two field trips per week at no additional charge. Only one martial arts class on trip days.
Indoor and Outdoor fun activities.
