Camp Week of December 26, 2011

Tuesday December 27, 2011 Skating – Please arrive no later than 9:00 am. We will return to the Dojang around 12:30pm. We will have lunch at the school.

Thursday December 29, 2011 Movies – Please arrive no later than 1:00 pm. We will return to the Dojang around 5:00pm. Please allow about $6.00 for the Kidspack.

Friday December 30, 2011 Game Day – Students may bring hand held electronics, a DVD and/or board game to share. As ever the Dojang can not be responsible for lost or damaged items.

Please remember to bring a sack lunch each day or at least $3.60 for Zaxby's Kid's lunch. We no longer have refrigerator or microwave.

Drop in days are available for $20/day (cash at drop off) if you attend evening classes or are a sibling of a camper.

Thanksgiving Break Schedule

Monday November 21 We open at 7am for our after school students. Please bring reading material, sack lunch and/or money for Zaxby’s. We no longer have a fridge so please pack lunch accordingly.
Tuesday November 22 Our field trip will be a forms tournament with Stockbridge TKD. Please arrive by 9:30am.
Wednesday November 23 Electronics, games and movies day. In addition to hand held games, students may bring a VHS or DVD (G or PG) that they would like to share.

Belt test on Friday November 11th

The following students are invited to test on Friday November 11th from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Please pay the $30 test fee by Wednesday November 9th on our website or at the school;

Election Day November 8th

The Dojang will be open at 7am Election Day November 8th for after school karate students, please bring reading material, electronic games, G or PG movie and a sack lunch (no fridge, not microwave) or money for Zaxby’s lunch (kids meal is about $3.60 with tax).

Return to normal schedule

Thank you for your patience with our landlord’s repairs to our HVAC system. Beginning Monday 6/27/11 pick up and drop off will be at the Dojang (no longer using the church). All classes return to full schedule. Tuesday July 5th 6pm class will be open to any student who normally attends Monday evening classes. Monday July 4th the Dojang will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

Temporary Closure

There will be no evening classes the week of 6/20 through 6/25, including Saturday classes, due to the HVAC repairs by our landlord.

Summer Camp temporary procedures

Summer Camp Parents

June 20, 2011

Dear Parent,

This weekend the outside units (compressors) for our air conditioning were stolen. A police report has been filed and our landlord has sent HVAC personnel to estimate the work required to repair/replace. Since the exact timeline to complete the repairs is unknown at this time, we have made arrangements with Faith Community Church for space.

We will have the following procedures until our HVAC is restored;
Morning drop off will remain at the Dojang (505).
All food will be stored in the Dojang fridge please do not send heat up food until further notice, just cold sack lunch.
All backpacks, etc. will remain stored at the Dojang (505).
Lunch and silent reading time will be at the church (455).
Pickup will be from the church (455).

The sparring gear bundle is now available on our website,existing students tab. the bundle is called Spargear and is a 25% discount which expires 6/11/11.

Spring Break Schedule

Field Trips;
Tuesday 4/5/11 Skating Be at the Dojang by 9:30 a.m. Skates are included, but please bring socks.
Thursday 4/7/11 Bowling Be at the Dojang by 9:30 a.m. with socks. Shoes and bowling games are included.
Friday 12/24/10 Handheld games day. The Dojang can not be responsible for lost or damaged games or cartridges. Campers whose behavior has been satisfactory all week will be allowed to play their handheld games. DO NOT BRING HANDHELD GAMES ANY OTHER DAY OF THE WEEK.

Daily bring sack lunch, grade appropriate reading materials, and tennis shoes (for outdoor activities).
Morning Class will be at 9:00 a.m. except field trip days.
Afternoon class will be at approximately 3:30 p.m.
